At How Lucky Are We, every piece is thoughtfully crafted to last for generations. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and proudly offer a one-year manufacturing warranty on all fine jewelry.
Defects in craftsmanship or materials under normal wear
If a manufacturing issue is confirmed within one year of your purchase, we will repair or replace the item at no cost.
Because fine jewelry is worn daily and can be lost, damaged, or impacted by accidental wear, we strongly recommend purchasing jewelry insurance for high-value pieces such as engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine diamond jewelry. Jewelry insurance provides protection for events that are not covered under our manufacturing warranty, including accidental damage, loss, theft, mysterious disappearance, or damage caused by everyday wear.
Our manufacturing warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Scratches, dents, or bent rings
Lost or stolen jewelry
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper care
Damage resulting from alterations or repairs performed by another jeweler
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with an eligible item, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Eligible for return:
Ready-to-ship jewelry
Stock items in original, unworn condition
Must include original packaging and documentation
Non-returnable items:
Custom-designed engagement rings
Made-to-order jewelry
Personalized or engraved pieces
Resized rings
Special-order diamonds or gemstones sourced specifically for your order
Final sale items
Because each custom piece is created specifically for you and cannot be resold as new, custom orders are final sale.
Deposits
All made-to-order and custom pieces are reserved with a 50% deposit, which is non-refundable. Your deposit covers the materials and craftsmanship committed to your piece the moment production begins. The remaining balance is invoiced when your piece is complete.
If there's a problem
If your item arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing defect, or differs from your approved design, we'll repair, replace, or remake it at no cost.

From your first idea to the moment it's on their hand — here's exactly how a How Lucky Are We piece comes to life.

The Vision
Outline your vision for a custom ring. Submit your design concept, and we'll generate a personalized quote.

Design & CAD
Secure your piece with a deposit, then we begin sourcing materials and creating your CAD model. Review and modify your CAD model as needed to perfect every detail. Once approved, we'll finalize sourcing and prepare your ring for production.

The Craft
Production takes four to six weeks. Specialty cut rings may take longer. We'll keep you updated with detailed progress at every stage of creation.

The Reveal
Upon completion, you'll receive photos and videos of your finished ring. Pay the final balance and we'll ship your piece fully insured within two business days.
